Because of its ideal climate, with 2.800 hours of sunlight each year, local people have a few nicknames for Split: "The most beautiful city in the world" and "Mediterranean flower". With about 170.000 inhabitants, Split is the second largest city in Croatia. The well-preserved Old Town offers a trip back in time, you will discover the numerous historical highlights (e.g. Diocletian's Palace)!
