Kindergarten Tamaris visiting AYC Base Vodice

Our AYC main base in Vodice had a special visit of a big group of children from kindergarten Tamaris (Vodice) beginning of June 2016.

The excursion started in ACI marina in front of AYC office. Teachers with 60 children split in two groups came to ACI marina Vodice ( one group at 9.00 and one at 10.30 ). Sailing club Tijat from Vodice brought one small sailing boat type "Optimist" to show kids first steps of how to become a sailor. Than director of marina Stanko Sko?i? showed to kids facilities in marina: service for boats, travel lift and dry dock.

When kids came back in front of AYC office our skipper Goran Crljenak organise a short workshop where kids were teached how to tie the knots.

The best part was preparation for sailing: putting the life vests on and getting on the boats. We sailed with 5 boats: Istra, Forus, AYC, Macchiato and Bavaria. Sailing was a great adventure for these kids. They were impressed by interior of boat and some of them wanted even to sleep on the boat :-) Teachers and kids were very thankful that AYC and ACI marina organized this kind of excersion for them.
